1. How do I score a forfeit?
A: All forfeits are scored as a 10 for the winner and 5 for the forfeit. Forfeits do not have handicaps therefore the opposing team removes one of their handicaps(of their choice) so both teams are playing with 4 handicaps instead of 5. (8 ball rules) 9 ball it is just scored as a loss.
2. What do I do if a player needs to shoot out due to work or other types of emergencies?
A: The opposing team Captain must approve and the player shooting out must rack all their games. The league does not have any ruling on this it is completely up to the teams. Although it is good sportmanship to allow this as long as it doesn't become a habit. Any players shooting out must leave the establishment within a reasonable amount of time of completing their games.
3. What do I do if a foul has been committed and neither player can agree to whether it was a foul or not?
A: Due to the fact that we don't have referee's at the matches it is solely up to the players to watch their game. If a shot is questionable, you may ask your captain and the opposing teams captain to watch the shot. If a decision cannot be made to as whether it was a foul or not, the game is reracked by the same racker and replayed. You must call the foul immediately after the foul. The player cannot be allowed to continue shooting until the matter is resolved.
4. What if my team decides to forfeit the match during the last four weeks of play?
A: If a match is forfeited in the last four weeks of a season and it is not made up the team forfeiting will lose their team winnings and it will be split up amongst the other teams evenly.
5. Can I change the cue ball or any other ball from the table before a match?
A: If both captains agree to this change then it is acceptable.
